In a few days I am leaving the farm here. I have gotten quite used to the way of life here and am expecting the usual shock of going from country to city. Yesterday Owain, Yosep and I all went to see some beautiful sites on the north coast of the island and we also saw old soviet bunkers and a few lighthouses, then at night we went to see a modern dance performance in the big village Kaina. I hope that I will come back to Hiumma in the future.

- Sometimes people ask me why I travel. Sometimes I ask myself the same question. The best answer I can give is that I am following my heart, but there are so many good reasons for me to travel. Traveling teaches me about myself for one thing. Gandhi said “a nation’s culture resides in the hearts and souls of its people”. When I learn about myself I am learning so much more. If I have learned one thing, I have learned that I am far from a perfect person. There is no such thing as a perfect person in my world. That doesn’t mean I’m not going to keep trying to be the best I can.
